Bloody Finger Jump

Bloody Finger Jump — press play to start

Bloody Finger Jump is a reaction-only arcade game where you tap to make a finger character hop and avoid incoming obstacles and rival fingers. There is exactly one input, exactly one verb, and the difficulty curve comes from raising the obstacle speed and density over time. Collisions trigger an over-the-top blood splatter — the visual joke is what gives the game its name — and your score is the seconds you stayed alive.

How to play

You tap or click the moment an obstacle is about to reach you, and the timing window narrows as the level speeds up. Holding the input does nothing — each jump is one tap — so the game is purely a rhythm-reaction loop. Score on the leaderboard is your survival time, and the only way to improve is to read the patterns earlier.

Controls

  • Mouse: click to jump.
  • Touch: tap anywhere to jump.

Tips & tricks

  • Tap on the obstacle’s leading edge, not its center. The hitbox is forgiving in front but tight on the back.
  • Use a metronome rhythm when speed plateaus. The patterns repeat, and timing on the beat outlasts timing by eye.
  • Take a finger break every few attempts. Reaction speed drops fast after a long run and you’ll start mistiming clean jumps.
  • Watch the speed-up moment. The game stutter-frames just before it ramps difficulty — that’s your cue to brace.

What makes it good

We picked it because the one-input format is honest. There are no upgrades, no power-ups, and no microtransactions hiding the score — just you, the tap, and a number that goes up the better you read patterns.
